Fragrance Release
Fragrance release products are formulated to have enhanced surface area properties. In the product shown, the fragrance reservoir is encapsulated in a PVC casing.

Mufflers & Vents
These type of products are usually hydrophobic to allow the passage of gas while stopping fluids and solid particulates.

 Filtration

Porous Plastic Components provide a highly torturous path. Pore Size and Pore Volume also contribute to this function. The material can serve as a depth filter or as a porous support for membrane sheets.

NIBS

Porous Plastic Nibs are used in marker pens and other writing instruments. They are formulated to be very wear resistant while serving to convey ink from the reservoir to the writing surface.

ION Exchange Products
Extremely high surface areas are created inside the structure of the Porous Plastic Matrix. Hydrophilicity and/or embediment of reactants can be introduced to promote reactions.

Wicks
Through capillary action, wicks are capable of drawing aqueous and non-aqueous fluids out of a reservoir for the purpose of dispersion through direct absorption or evaporation.
